ABOUT ME

Welcome to my World
Hello! / Olá / Bula / Kon’nichiwa / שלום
I’m a lifelong builder, innovator, and problem solver. Over the past three decades, I’ve founded and scaled multiple ventures across technology, advertising, automotive, and consumer electronics. My work lives at the intersection of engineering, marketing, and insight, I’m always chasing real-world problems with creative, scalable solutions. Daily.
Where it All Started
My journey into entrepreneurship and technology began in the mid-90s, before startups were cool, before social media, and long before I ever thought I’d build the businesses I run today. Like many first-generation dreamers, my story started with a name tag at 16 years old, working the chicken nugget line at McDonald’s in the Staten Island Mall.
It may have seemed like just a part-time gig to others, but to me, it was everything. That job taught me discipline, hustle, and customer service under pressure. It taught me business 101 and tools I still use to this day. I looked at Richard and Maurice McDonald and thought, If they could build a billion-dollar empire just from flipping burgers, why not me?
But the entrepreneurial fire wasn’t mine alone, it ran in the family. My father had us, me my brothers and I, all of us, pitching in with his cosmetics business. We weren’t just lifting boxes; we were learning marketing, branding, customer engagement, basic bookkeeping, deliveries, and how to hustle a product in the real world. That business became my first informal MBA, and to this day, I credit those lessons as foundational. (Thanks, Dad.)
I wasn’t drawn to the traditional college path, though. While many of my peers were planning out majors and dorm life, I was dreaming of designing cars for General Motors. I could draw, I knew cars inside and out, and I had a lifelong love of horsepower. My plan was to attend the ArtCenter College of Design, one of the top schools for auto design or design in general. But first, I enrolled at the College of Staten Island to knock out general education courses—math, reading, writing, while I built my portfolio and prepped for transfer.
Reality hit fast: ArtCenter wasn’t just highly selective, it was incredibly expensive. So I pivoted and enrolled at New York City College of Technology. My excitement was real, I was finally studying something aligned with my passion. I was on track to get into the GM design pipeline.
Then everything changed.
Two years into the program, New York State made sweeping budget cuts to higher education under Governor Mario Cuomo Sr., and the program I was in, one that had direct ties to GM, was shut down. Just like that, the dream I’d built my plan around was gone. I was frustrated, angry, and completely thrown off course.
But if there’s one thing I’ve learned about entrepreneurship, it’s this: you adapt, or you stall. So I adapted. I went back to what I knew, working with my dad, helping run the family business, and launching my own hustle on the side. That was the real start of my entrepreneurial path. I didn’t need a degree to build something meaningful. I needed drive, insight, and a willingness to take risks.
And I’ve been building my life and career ever since.
The New Era: Innovation Meets Advertising
I’ve since built several ventures focused on reinventing how brands connect with people through non-traditional media and smart devices:
FURE Technologies: We place targeted digital ads on passengers’ smartphones during rideshare trips. It’s ad-tech made mobile, built for scale in cities like Philly, LA, Chicago, Austin, and Miami. FURE turns idle screen time into valuable brand engagement, all while riders get to their destinations.
AirGrafs.com: This venture was born from a simple observation: people watch planes at the gate or while taking off or landing. We print full-RGB ads directly onto airplane airframes while they’re docked at the gate, capturing eyeballs during one of the most visible and underutilized moments in travel.
BoksKar.com: A tiered vehicle subscription model that gives customers access to 2 to 5 vehicles per month, think of it as flexible, lifestyle-based leasing. It’s built for people who want variety without long-term commitments.
E-NetCanvas.com: Inspired by in-cabin taxi advertising, this platform installs touchscreen displays on shield guards inside cabs. These screens show rotating video and static ads, local info, and rider tools like seatbelt reminders. Over 40 million units are already in fleets worldwide.
LEVE: A smart charging wall outlet adapter that extends lithium battery life by preventing overcharging and offering app-based control of voltage, timing, temperature, and amperage. Developed in response to the early smartphone overheating issues, LEVE is now a quiet guardian of device longevity.
My Approach
I don’t chase trends—I chase tension and headaches people have. If there’s a gap in the market or a system that frustrates users, I want to build the solution. Every company I create starts with one simple question: How can we make this better for someone or a business? That curiosity drives the strategy, the deep-market research, the product design, and the go-to-market path.
I’ve spent years in boardrooms, garages, server rooms, and street corners, all to build things that work. I pair a strong technical foundation with marketing instincts honed over 30+ years. Whether I’m pitching to investors, sketching product ideas, or refining backend architecture, my focus is always on outcomes. Long-term outcomes.
What's Next?
I’m currently focused on scaling FURE to national and international markets, while refining tech infrastructure across my portfolio of ventures. If you’re a founder, investor, strategic partner, or someone building in adjacent spaces, let’s connect. Two minds are better than one.

Deeper side of Rudy Ferraz
I know you’re gonna ask “Why put out this personal info out in the interwebs” since some of it is already out there. Well, folks are gonna make stuff up, say stuff that isn’t me, or say stuff to sell to the press. It’s unfortunate, but this is the world we live in, and we shouldn’t live like this but we do. And yeah, I’ve done dumb stuff too that’s gotten me to sit in the back seat of a cop car, it’s “a curva de aprendizagem da vida” / “life’s a learning curve”, you learn from it, you move on, and you do/be better.. you’re not born with a guidebook in your birthday suit, just great parents to help guide me on the road of life. – 1❤
Rudy is a visionary entrepreneur who has etched his name into the annals of modern business with his innovative ventures and steadfast determination and grit. Born in the bustling city of Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, Rudy’s journey began on the solid foundations of hard work, relentless ambition, and perseverance. At the young age of 54, he stands as a testament to the power of ingenuity and resilience in the face of adversity.
A pivotal moment in Rudy’s life occurred when he met his beloved wife through a serendipitous encounter on a blind date via Match.com. Two years later, they exchanged vows, embarking on a shared journey filled with love, support, and mutual aspiration. Together, they welcomed twins into their lives, a testament to their enduring bond and shared dreams for the future. Rudy remained grounded in his commitment to family and community. Nestled in the tranquil suburbs of Northampton County, Pennsylvania, he continued to steer the company from the comfort of his home, surrounded by the unwavering support of his devoted wife and children.
Rudy’s entrepreneurial spirit found expression in the realm of startups, where he sought to revolutionize traditional models and redefine industry standards. His latest venture, FURE, emerged as a beacon of innovation in the realm of ridesharing and advertising. With a pioneering concept that merges transportation and marketing, FURE offers free rides to passengers in exchange for engaging with targeted advertisements. This symbiotic relationship between advertisers and riders proved to be a game-changer, propelling FURE to unprecedented heights of success. Beyond the boardroom, Rudy’s legacy endures as a testament to the power of innovation, perseverance, and the enduring bonds of family.
